September Yoga at the Caves will be a DOUBLE FEATURE! We are offering TWO completely different classes from two completely different teachers! FIRE and ICE
At 6 pm Robyn Lucks will bring the fire in a playful, challenging way as she blends traditional yoga postures with fitness elements enhancing strength and stability. You are welcome to take breaks or modify as necessary. Robyn encourages all levels of fitness attend.
At 7 pm Jessica Hope will cool you down with a candlelit restorative yin class. Expand tight muscle and get into those extra sticky spots. This class is ideal for those who need to stretch or struggle with flexibility. Expect relaxed, gentle movement with intentional breath accompanied by soothing sound bath by Jordan Klein.

History of the Caves: Frederick Miller started his own brewery in 1855 and bought the Plank Road Brewery from Charles and Lorenz Best – sons of Pabst founder Jacob Best – and the caves were part of the deal.
The caves as part of the Miller Brewery are where they would keep the beer cold. They would cut large blocks of ice from local lakes and rivers. Pewaukee Lake was the primary source for the ice. They would bring it in by horse and wagon, and they would line the walls of the caves and cover it with sawdust and hay. Then they'd place all of the wooden barrels of beer in the caves and that would keep them cold through the really hot summer months.
